Nick Skerlick DIRECTOR OF HOCKEY OPERATIONS
My name is Nick Skerlick and I specialize in Hockey IQ, motivation, and player development. As a rising junior at Lebanon Valley College, I major in/study Business/ psychology, while pursuing my love for the game. Being a student-athlete is challenging, but it has been an ultimately rewarding experience, allowing me to thrive in my natural element.
With over 4 years of coaching experience, I have molded players across the country, while elevating my individual game. I played five years of Junior hockey, earning an EHL regular-season championship with the Philadelphia Little Flyers. The team holds the all-time best record at 38-3-3 in the league. In 2012, I participated in America’s showcase, playing for Team NJ. As a self-motivated player, I have always analyzed my own performance and searched meticulously for areas of improvement. I turned that strategy into action when I began assisting others with their development. I instructed Camps at Planet Hockey LLC. all over the U.S. and have coached with The Northern Vermont Wildcats Spring program. I pride myself in having an eye for talent, playing a key role as a scout for the Philadelphia Little Flyers, Potomac Patriots, and several other programs.. With a proven track record of success, I have moved over 25 players by age 22, to Prep school or junior hockey.
Throughout my career, hockey has been an essential part of my development as a person on and off of the rink. Through unwavering dedication and discipline, I was able to play at a high level, constantly challenging myself to push my boundaries. When I reflect on my journey, I not only think about my passion for the sport but the memories along the way. I have cultivated great relationships with people in the field, including Rocky Russo (NAHL Scout/Head Coach of the Little Flyers), Lincoln Flagg (East Coast Eagles), Dustin Good (Tilton School), Don Parsons (NCAA Division 3), and Jamie Herrington (USHLNTDP). My journey has also been extremely unique, enabling me to travel the country and because of hockey, I was able to tour 47 of 50 states. These invaluable memories have changed my life and I hope that by the end of our program, you will also benefit from a diverse experience while bringing your game to the next level.
